WE ARE SO BLESSED

We are so blessed for having some visits by our good friends both from Indonesia and overseas.  Mrs Tina Vanderpol , from Vancouver came for the 3rd time in one year.  The children were so happy to see her again and even more as has managed to teach them some new songs and many other interactions.Basically the children are so interested to be taught by her and the ability of the children are being boosted by they way person like Mrs Tina Vanderpol teaching them. Yes the children are coming from the lowest society in West Timor but their knowledge are getting better and better. Their confidence level are strongly growing and their eagerness to learn on anything just being so huge. We hope that one day soon they will be able to help them self because of their hard work on studying and their togetherness with all of the orphanage members. One thing that is sad was when she must go back to her country , at that parting time , crying was never been able to be avoided ( especially for Edu Tameno).

This time the orphanage children also being blessed by all of our children ( Christine  coming from Sydney Australia , Tassya and Christian both from Vancouver , Canada ) who are coming to the orphanage during their school break . It was great to see them interacting and growing up together.  If 10 years ago Christine and Tassya are carrying the children like Edu, Elis and Michael as months old babies , now they are already able to help us in so many things . They can even help us on preparing the food on the table and even helping us to look after the little ones. Time flies really fast.

This time Tassya is not only going home because of her school break but she is also going back to the orphanage because she has graduated from her high school. She has graduated from Abbotsford Christian High school . She is in fact being blessed that she has been successfully securing a place into the University that she want to be in , which is Trinity Western University in Vancouver which  the school will be commenced  on Sept 4th 2010. Praise The Lord indeed.

This time we are also having the visit from Luke , an American ( California) who found us from Google and he just showed up .

We are also having Ms Alya and Mr Rudy from Jakarta television (SCTV) .

So much joy and quality time being created for the children, praise The Lord indeed.

At the moment we are having 36 boys and 35 girls , so we are having 71 children now .  Some girl are already in nursing school as she thinks that to be a nurse is so interesting and able to help people as soon as she is completed the schooling ( some 3 years only). Next July we will have 5 children joining the university too and Gerson will be on this 6th semester on his medical school.
