UP DATE FROM ROSLIN ORPHANAGE

For the last two months we have been so busy with so many things and we are not having enough time to up date the blog . Here is some up date even though we are not having any up dated pictures yet ( we will get the pictures asap).

Up date on plastic buckets and mosquito nets efforts:

Praise The Lord we will have at least 200 plastic buckets can be distributed soon . With these plastic buckets we will be able to help villagers to have a much better water storage in their house hold.  Praise The Lord also for the material for us to make the mosquito nets is on its way from Jakarta to the orphanage. With the mosquito nets we will be able to help the villagers from being contracted with Malaria or Dengue or anything that mosquito can bring.

For each plastic bucket we will label it with the name of the person or organization who donated it to the villagers. Our children at the orphanage is also eager to make the mosquito nets asap. They are not only eager to practice to use a sewing machine but they are eager to do it because some of the mosquito nets will be sent to their family ( siblings) as well. It will be an meaningful efforts to them ( even though they can not contribute a financial matter to their family , they can contribute to their family's well being or improving health matter).

We hope that the mosquito net's materials will be arriving soon.

Up date on our orphanage children:

We are so much richer now ,not only we are having more children but the children are more knowledgeable.  The children are showing such a good progress with their schooling results. For those who were weak with their academic knowledge , at the recent result of their school report , they have shown us a huge improvements, Praise The Lord indeed. It was worrisome to us for some of them are rather slow in their ability to absorb their academic knowledge but with a constant efforts we are now so happy. We are not intending all of them to be a straight A students but we want them to be at least knowing what supposed to be known according to their age group. Indeed we want them to be just a normal students but we are so blessed that some of them are really making a good rank in their class . Desy Tanono is rank 2nd in her class even though she has been doing all the house routine duties and helping us to look after some of the smaller children. Kevin ( primary two)  and Dede ( primary one) are also making us proud, they are both able to get the rank 1st and 2nd in their classes.  Praise The Lord.

The good school results is a direct effect of the playground facilities that we have built recently, The children are studying hard but they are also able to have fun too.  With having some sort of balance on studying hard and having fun enough , we are convinced that in the long run we will have brighter students and more capable children. The joy that we have is not limited to the current schooling students but also for having the preschool students able to read and write as well. The funny facts , some of the preschool children are actually able to write better than the schooling ones. This fact will be a big bonus to us as we will be sure upon the future facts that we will be having when the preschools are joining their schooling ones. There won't be any frustration for them upon learning how to read and write in school, Praise The Lord.

up date on our numbers :

We were having 48 children in November 2009 but with some of the recent developments and your participation, we are blessed with a better capabilities. At the moment we are able to look after 66 children at the orphanage and some 18 more children are waiting to be joining us when we are able to get the girl's dorm done. It will be great if we can have a proper shelter for them rather than having them cramped with the current facilities.  Some cases has been helping us more on our faith. It was not too long ago we were receiving a donation of baby clothes from  twins . It was soon after that we are joined by a twin babies. Things are seemed to be well prepared and the timing has been managed by The Lord Him Self. we cannot complain as things are being provided timely. This is not the first case but every time we are in the need(s) , God is always providing us with what we need(s) .  Praise The Lord. The fact is even better because the way on God providing us is not with such a mediocre way but He provided us with such a total remedial way(s). Indeed we are so blessed.
