THE LIBRARY IS GETTING BETTER

We are happy to see that the library has been useful for some students even though we must make a lot more improvement for it. The Library can be a place for any one to stop and to spend some time with books. I was glad that I was seeing some students after coming back from school went straight to our library for some clue and data that they required upon the home work assignment from their school . This habit can surely be enhanced so that they can do better for their school matter. I wish that I know better about how to manage a library. with the book shelves that bro DS bought for us , we will be able to display more books accordingly.

During this visit we were able to visit a primary school which is near by from our orphanage. The school still has no library and this make our library comes handy and useful for the students to do their research. The short coming for this school is still the same , that is the sanitation matter where they do not have water for their only toilet. Peggy is going back to the orphanage tomorrow and we hope that some thing is can be done for their water storage which said to be leaking. All of our orphanage's little ones are attending this Kaniti primary school.

This school is still having big problem with English teacher's availability. To help the students , after our class room at the orphanage is more organized , we will conduct some classes for them together with our orphanage's programs. Nowadays we must be able to know some basic English for most of the country in the world are using English language for communicating in both verbal and written one. Any one who wants to volunteer teaching English is welcomed and appreciated. To teach the children English we can use some songs or some short story like what we have been doing at the orphanage. Recently we have bought an electronic organ so that while they are singing , they can be guided by the music too.

A happy moment for us was also when we were receiving a parcel from bro Philipus Basuki . The books are good for the young and old. There are choices of educational books, history and humor books. Thank you to bro Philipus .
