Yth. CaptB,
Salam saya,

Ahmad Subandi

Sugeng enjing pak Ahmad Subandi,

Hello, I just wanted to say that I've been so encouraged by your blog. The energy I sense from reading the different entries from your archives is so positive. I praise God for providing for your orphanage through His creation and His children. It is evident even by your language that you have such great attitudes and a deep love and respect for the children in your care. I pray that all goes well with your move and new beginnings.

My husband and I hope to be very involved in orphanages. We have 3 of our own ages 4, 2, and 7 months and we have so much love for these eternal beings God has given to us to care for. My husband lost his mother when he was 13 because she died giving birth to her 8th child. His loss has opened his eyes to the hurt in this world. Our dream is to open an orphanage and care for the children by setting them up for success in their adult lives. My husband is working on his dissertation for a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering. We are just waiting for this chapter to be over, but I was encouraged by your messages to be useful and kind even while we wait.

I pray that God continues to bless the Roslin Orphanage.

God bless you,

Toni

Dear Madam Antonina and family

Thank you for your encouraging words indeed we are feeling great and being recharged, thank you.
It has been great to deal with the children especially if they are your own children. So much for us to give unconditionally and the reward is so instant ( by watching them growing well or during their sleeping period).
Do enjoy your children as they are the most precious gift from The Lord to parents.
Good luck with your dearest on his study, the time is getting closer and closer and the end of the tunnel is just around the corner.
Our prayers be with you and your family.
Have a blessed day

Budi and family

As I sit here in this corporate building working my 9am-5pm job; I wonder if my life is meant for so much more than this. While I could sit here for hours and praise you all for your selflessness, I can't help but to wonder how I could also become involved with Roslin Orphanage. I WISH I could come there and help cook, clean, and take care of the younger kids but this I know is not possibe for I am in Ft Lauderdale, Florida USA.

But what I can do is PRAY!!!!!! I will keep the Roslin Orphanage in my prayers and hopefully I will be able to send some montetary support soon. Keep working as the light of God within this dark and evil world.

Nicole

Good day Captain Budi & Family,
We are The Skinner Family, Daniel & Cheryl, and our 3 sons. America is our home.
While visiting Roslin's web page, we were happy to see how well cared for your children are. You seem to be a family, not an orphanage! This must be a testament to all your diligent and loving efforts!

Might your children be interested in becoming pen pals? Pen pals are " distant
friends" who write letters back and forth, sharing the events of their day with eachother. Our 7 year old son would enjoy developing an overseas friendship with any of your children who might also enjoy this!

If so, Captain Budi, please reply via this blog, and we will begin by having Danny, age 7, write a letter to the children of Roslin, sharing with the children what his day in 2nd Grade class is about!

Who knows, maybe someday our family will travel to Singapore to meet everyone.
Of our 3 sons, our youngest came to our family through adoption. We have been giving thought to welcoming another member to our family through adoption.
Hoping to do so in the very near future.

Please know that we hold you & your family in our family's thoughts and prayers.
We are looking forward to your reply,
Kind regards,
Daniel & Cheryl & Family

Dear Mr and Mrs Daniel and family

Greetings from Roslin Orphanage. What a joy to have received a lovely note from you. I will ask the children to draft some notes for your children and I will try my best to translate it in English. Indeed our orphanage is a big family rather than an orphanage ha ha ha .
I hope one day you can visit us at the orphanage which is not in Singapore but in West Timor ( Timor Island, just north of Darwin, Australia) . I hope that we will have a play ground when you are visiting us.

again thank you for your love notes and coming to us as a family too.

Have a blessed day, always

Budi and family

Hello Captain B & Family,
Am so happy and encouraged by your orphanage. I'm very happy for what you are doing. It has been in my mind to set up an orphanage as well but I've been keeping back instead, I sponsored children through compassion international.
I feel lead to start in Rwanda and will travel there this year to see how I can start one there. Am happy you have your wife to assist, makes it feel warm and more of a family home. That way, you can impact the children better and impress good ethics in their hearts that will last.
Am so glad to find out about your efforts and will pray for you tonight and always.
- With love.

Thank you. Praise the Lod

All the very best to you

Have a blessed day

Dear Ms Danielle

Welcome to Roslin Orphanage

Hello Cpt. B and family,
My name is Veronica Baltimore and I live in Baxley, Ga. , USA...tonight I watched the CNN tribute to heroes...and where all of the wonderful men and women that were honored are amazing people ...your story stood out to me. I guess as a person who has the privilege to be the mother to three amazing kids Bailee age 12, Sawyer age 6, and Joseph age 3 your story touched me as one parent to another. I believe that you and your family are angels that walk among us here on earth. Children are the world's greatest resource and you and your family are cultivating that resource on such a higher level than just the average person or parent. May God continue to bless you in your works and to bless your children...you and your wife are not only providing the essentials to the children that you care for but you are providing them a family and for that I am sure there will be a brighter spot in heaven for you when you get there. Warmest regards and keeping you in prayers always, Veronica Baltimore
