OUR TRIP IN APRIL 2009
First of all I would like to share with you All that Peggy has been able to inhale and exhale normally by using both of her nostrils. It has not been an easy thing to do for the last 18 months of breathing just by one side of the nose. She went to the hospital and some of the stitches were removed. Thank you for your prayers and certainly the prayers were heard and as a result Peggy's recovery has been fast. Even though it is done , the complete healing will be at least for another 6 months to 1 year as what the doctor told us. Extra care must be exercised and make sure that there will be nothing is hitting her nose too hard.
April will be an interesting month for the orphanage. We will be having a visit from our dear friends from Canada from Apr the 10th , on the 11th and 12th we will be having Mrs Margareth and Janine from Australia and they are our friend from Rotary Club in Perth. It will be a trip where they are going to evaluate the planned program that we are going to run it at the orphanage . The program will be called " train the trainer program. We are hoping that later on those people that will be trained are able to train others upon developing their knowledge ( whatever it might be ).
I will be arriving on the 11th and if any one want to come , please do so. This time I will be using a flight to Jakarta then by another flight to Kupang . With me will be two other wonderful friends Alex Chee and Edy Chew from Singapore. Another friend from Singapore Pauline Chong will be coming on the 13th via Bali. She will be making some data collection upon our other programs which will linked up with some other orphanage programs in 10 other ASEAN countries which a foundation will be managing .The foundation will be led by Miss Norma Sit . Our orphanage will be made as the standard for other orphanages should they want to build a new orphanage else where. It will be a busy trip for every one.
I wish that I will be having more time to stay there but this time I will be there only for some 3 to 4 days only. Our project for planting the banana must be delayed a little more as well as the animal's farming. In May we may start another land clearing for some 25 000 M2 area and we will use it for the animal's farming . It will be about 4 km before our paddy farm. For any one who wants to participate to do the clearing is welcome ha ha h a. It will not be an easy tasks because it will be involving some very thorny plants and a hard plants to cut down. Locally we call it as " kabesak" tree ( (Acacia leucophloea) but the dry wood can be as hard as iron . There is other tree too which is also very thorny ( I must ask the name of the tree) .We must cut it properly before it is dried as even for a nail will be tough to get through it.
Have a blessed day to All
