NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Based on the conditions that we were having , it was so hard to imagine how we can provide enough food for the orphanage and to continue managing it when I am retired ( in 10 years time) from being a pilot. Only hard works, survival strategies and moments of uncertainties were lining up in front of us . What we were having were some lands at the orphanage location and a dry farm land which are only depending from the amount of the yearly rain fall. We may have lots and lots of plans but without having enough water things were just impossible to be changed and no progress can be done.

By The Grace Of God , the condition has been changed and the changes are so big and we are being liberated from all the worries and from the uncertainties . God has given us the major change in the form of the artesian water which I have spoken some 2 months ago. What we want to share with you All is the present condition that we are having at the orphanage and the former dry lands.

Our orphanage has been changed by having the precious water truk and the dry farm land has been changed with the artesian well/ water . If 2 months ago we are having a limited water supply for the orphanage , now we are having enough of this essential clean water that we need. If the dry farm land was so dry and nothing can be planted during the dry season , now we are having a "non stop" flowing of water supply without having the involvement of a water pump nor electricity usage ,thus enabling us to plant at any time of the year. Praise The Lord indeed.

We can witness the before and after conditions from these picture below.

If you want to witness what we are currently having , you may come with me during my up coming trip ( March 22nd to April 10th). Who knows if your presence will be able to give us new ideas about to manage he farm better. We are currently having lots and lots of corn , paddy and KangKong veggies. It was not an easy tasks to change the condition into what we are having but it can be done. Peggy was so frequently in person involve in arranging the shape of the paddy fields as to make sure that the water distribution can be managed best. It was also a working hours from morning to quite late in the evening ( especially during the soil flipping session). Occasionally Peggy must also involved on the tractor's operation . If you are looking at the last picture, so you can see that from one tiny paddy's seed we can get so much in return ( that is if te water is enough and the the land is fertile enough) . It must be involving some weeds and grass cleaning during the paddy's growth.

As of 1 week ago , we have had a great moment of opening a new farm at a different location. Things are faster and more time efficiency can be made because of our precious tractor. In the past if we want to flip the soil by means of manual labor , we have to use some 10 people for the area of 1 hectare , we need at least 8 to 10 days . Now with the mighty tractor of our own , we can do 1,5 hectares in " one to two" days and with only 2 person . By the fact that we are able to get our farm done at no time, we have been helping some people's land too . Not only helping to flip the soil but we are also helping them with seeds and fertilizer too. At the end of the period ( harvest) they will share their harvest with the orphanage. As we are having enough from our own land , we will distribute the surpluses with people who are not having enough food during the dry season. Praise The Lord for making us capable even more on helping others.
