MY FAMILY AND I ARE BEING BLESSED

It has been 11 years for my family and I were living in Singapore . It has been a blessed period. It has been the best as far as my flying career is concerned and it has been period where we are blessed with so many friends to which many of them became very close like a family to us. Praise The Lord.

Through my job with SIA I have been meeting new friends from different walks of life and so far I am only finding my self surrounded with two types of friends namely  " good or very good friends" only. It is a real blessing indeed. So much that I have been doing and dealing with so many friends yet every day I am still meeting new wonderful friends.

Today is a special day for me , at least some 8 wonderful friends were asking me out for lunch of diner with their families . Some are wanting me to spend some time together for remembering our quality times during the duty trip that we were doing it in the past and some are my regular eating and tennis buddies. Today from early in the  morning till this evening I have been receiving so many calls and kind words from so many friends which are actually giving me lots and lots of encouragements to move on and upon dealing with the future. This wonderful time ( today) will certainly a day that my family and I will be remembering about how good our stay in Singapore has been. Indeed it is very hard to face the fact that we will leave Singapore and so many friends soon. We would like to keep our friendship to be continued even though when we are not in Singapore anymore from mid November onwards.

Any way it has been so enjoyable for me and my family to be living in Singapore and to make so many brothers and sisters and friends . To some extend some of them are like my own family. Praise The Lord.

While I am doing the flying duties I was able to be connected with so many friends from so many churches n New York area ( even to Philadelphia) and also so many friends from different churches in Los Angeles. New York to me is a place where I can share God's blessings to our activities in the form of testimonials and they are actually solid proves to what has been written on the Bible and to what has been happening within our activities in Timor ( our orphanage works). It has been so good that we have been given to be the witness to the Christian's teaching and what the fulfillment to God's promises. It was so real that if we are searching for The Lord first , things will be given to us exceedingly and abundantly. By understanding Romans 8 : 28 and 31 , we should not be worry as God is the one in control and His timing will be the best for whatever situation that we may have.

With the CNN hero 2009 program I have made so many new wonderful friends from so many different walks of life. It is a real blessing for me . Praise The Lord. So many new knowledge that I have been learning from my interactions with them and so many joy and quality time has been made too. God has been great on putting me at the right place which is flying for Singapore Airlines. Because of working in Singapore Airlines I am able to be part of FCAP ( Fellowship of Christian Airlines Personnel) , to be part of MAF ( Mission Aviation Fellowship) , to be part of Rotary Clubs and Rotary International too. I am so rich with friends and still more new wonderful friends almost every day. I must thankful to SIA for having me for the last 11 beautiful years. My family and I must thankful to The Lord for putting me here and letting Singapore Airlines as God's instrument to do our work in Timor ( the orpanage). Thank you SIA ! Thank you for having me and my family in Singapore for the last 11 years.

When my wife had the accident in Oct 2007 she was not only treated at the best hospital but also the best doctor and the best nurse . It was headed by Prof Collin Song and assisted by nurse Patu. It was a terrible accident that Peggy was experiencing (http://www.roslinorphanage.org/wordpress/thank-you-for-your-prayers-and-help/). Now Peggy is almost 100% back to normal in terms of her face issue.
