IT HAS BEEN A JOYOUS MOMENT HERE IN HOLLYWOOD
It has been a joyous moment to me and my family here in Hollywood since our arrival on the 19th. It was such beautiful trip right from Singapore to Los Angeles. The weather was so good , so clear it was such a smooth flight all the way through. This is the first trip ever for me and Peggy that we made overseas for the last 11 years ( even though we are having the facilities to do so) . Usually we are always going to the orphanage instead of an overseas trip. A pick up car was provided by CNN for us at the LAX airport, a great trip from the airport to the hotel. It was really a fantastic trip indeed , Praise The Lord.
Earlier I met with all the top ten persons, we were so happy to meet up in person and it was such a joy to be gathered with a good reason. I am really honored to meet up with all of them knowing that they are people with such a passion upon helping others without any self interest other than the love to others which being conducted on day to day basis.

I am feeling so honored too by the arrival of my former instructor who taught me how to fly for the first time back in 1976, Mr Bill Whitworth and his lovely wife Bernice just booked the ticket from Sydney without expecting any possibility of getting the seats during the function at the Kodak Theater. He was telling me that it will be honored just to greet me right after the show is completed . Praise The Lord that CNN was able to tell me that they are getting their seats for the CNN Heroes function.
Mr Bill Whitworth and his wife Bernice , the person who taught me how to fly a plane for the first time in 1976 at Bankstown Airport , Sydney Australia .
We have done the rehearsal and tomorrow is the day for us to have all the fun and celebration. To me all of them are winners and real heroes. It is a privilege for me to be able to join them for this gathering. I hope that we can work together in the future for the sake of humanity. This is also inline with us at Rotary International. It was so great to meet up with Mr Anderson Cooper in person , Ms Kate Hudson and some other famous people. We are so happy and full of fun together . Thank you to CNN and all of their fantastic staff. The Kodak Theater it self is so grand and extra ordinary building. My family and I are so happy to be part of this celebration. We will never be able to go inside this lovely theater without this occasion. Praise The Lord for this special holiday for me and my family. This is for the very first time for us to travel overseas. We have been spending our time and holiday together at the orphanage for the last 8 years. It will be for the first time for me and my family to visit The Disney land too on the November 22nd.

Praise God for you and your wife and family. You are truly inspiring. You deserve your Hero status and your holiday in LA. God Bless and Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear Capt. Budi,
barusan saya selesai nonton tayangan CNN Heroes: All Stars Tribute.
God Bless You, Capt! God Bless for Mama Peggy & Family and God Bless for all children at Roslin Orphanage!
Always keep in touch.
Terima kasih atas encouragement nya.
Kita semua hanya bisa berbuat sebaik mungkin selagi kita masih punya waktu didunia ini.
Salam hormat untuk keluarga
Budi dan kel
just watched cnn heroes and was greatly inspired to read more about your beautifully large family.
your faith in Jesus is clear in all of your writing here, which confirms the radiance i saw on your faces tonight. my husband and i, with our two girls ages 6 and 8 will keep you in our prayers and donate what we can periodically. just as important, we will humble ourselves to hear God's bigger mission for us - I pray we have the courage to follow His lead with as much passion and unconditional love as you and Peggy have. peace from Minnesota in the US,
kim
I saw your story on CNN Hero's and am deeply touched by your family's strength. I will never forget you and your family and pray for our Lord to continue to bless you far beyond your desires. You and your wife, and family truly deserve this nomination, and are truly winners. Our Lord must be so proud of you for all you do for these children, and I pray your strength is renewed daily as you do His will.
Praise Jesus for his grace and mercy upon these little ones and for bringing them into your loving care!! I will keep you all in my prayers, and would be honored to come help and meet you one day. God's blessings be upon you, Pam
Just a quick comment to say how much I appreciate and agree with what Kim from Minnesota said: "we will humble ourselves to hear God’s bigger mission for us – I pray we have the courage to follow His lead with as much passion and unconditional love as you and Peggy have." That is my hope and prayer as well. I also pray that we will have the courage and the opportunity to visit Roslin orphanage one day!
Praise God!
J.D. from Minnesota, USA.
