GOOD TO BE WITH CHILDREN

Our days were so colourful and full with activities as we had planned. It can be physical thing but it also can be a fun time with the children. Happiness combined with hardwork and some times sadness as well. During our stay the mornings has been started with fresh and crispy air which making us wanted to enhale more air and eager to do more things. Watching the children growing well in a healthy place made us so happy too. Playing with them is a bonus on its own and giving a secure feeling to the children too. Life is good !.

Our prime mission was to build the new rooms and a class room for the orphans to sleep, to study and better facilities doing other educational activities as well. We had chosen the sites and we had started with the foundation building. Some changes were made along the way. The room that we planned to build of 6 by 20 meters had been changed to 5,7 by 24 meters. Few more windows and door were decided to be changed too. Pebbles, sand , iron/ steel materials and wooden material must be purchased for the purposes of building the structures. Our pick ups( cars)  had been a big help for us as the difference on buying the building materials are the transportation fees. For example to buy a full load pebble of one pick up will cost some Rp 400 000 ( 1 USD is aboou Rp 9000), while buying it with our own car(pick up) will only cost us RP 130 000 plus the fuel cost. The same thing with buying sand and other materials , we can save a lot of the transportation costs.  I had been a driver for the 3 pick ups that we have for buying sand, pebbles, wood and many more things. The road conditions are not as good as the city's road , so we have to choose the way to avoid shap edges and stones. Any way it is a good excercise for my mind, eyes, arms and foot. More activities and a productive one too  ha ha ha.    More physical activities were conducted which I will share the detail on the next entry .
