CHIRSTMAS AND YEAR END GATHERING AT THE ORPHANAGE

It has been a routine activity for the orphanage to have a gathering for the children during the Christmas and year end period every year. We are not only dealing with the children but also dealing with families near by our orphanage. This year is not different as if the year before . 250 packages were made and delivered to the villages that we usually visiting and for the people near by the orphanage. Each package were consist of 10 kg of rice, sugar, salt, flour to make cake, matches, soap, shampoo, condensed milk, instant noodle, syrup, 2 kg of eggs, butter, some sweets for the children , a new sarong and the most important is to put in our love in the package ha ha ha . It has been so nice to be able to see some genuine smiles being generated from the love gift that was being received.

For the village’s children we are always making a special time for them . We were not only giving things as their Christmas presents but we will always play with them. It can be any simple game or singing contest but the main thing is enjoying the precious time for being together and followed by good food for all. This time we are only making a simple combination of rice, soup, some meat and egg ( we missed making the fried shrimp crackers for this time ) . For their gifts as usual any thing that will be useful for their schooling. This is the easiest time to distribute your clothing donations to the children ( it is easy because they are coming together but it is so difficult that we have to look for the correct sizes for them).
