ANOTHER AN UNEXPECTED AWARD AND THIS TIME IS FROM FROST AND SULLIVAN

It was rather amazing how it was started .

Indeed things are really beyond normal

If we ask our self , how many times have we open up our junk mail ? I am sure the answer is almost never to most of us.  It was almost my last day spending my annual leave at the orphanage.  It was rather unusual I can have a strong signal of internet using our newly bought USB modem ( usually the signal is rather weak and to open email has been so slow) . Anyway I was so happy to be able to have the internet connection and able to surf some website and especially to open my email.  It has been for years that I will never touch my junk mail rather than deleting it without looking what has been in the junk mail.

On that day for some reason I was curious about what will be on my junk mail so I open the junk mail for the very first time ( there were about 200 junk mail when I open it ).   Sure enough most of them were junks and things related to selling items , alcohol , pornography and website dating matter. Instead of deleting the whole junk mail I deleted one by one until I struck to a rather different email. This email was telling me about me getting a recognition from Frost and Sullivan to me for doing our orphanage activities in the category of EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP, Praise The Lord .

All of the good thing and on this occasion is nothing about us but all are actually control and arranged by The Lord himself.  It is a privilege to be an instrument for His glory and His glory only.

It was a special evening for me and Christine to see such a wonderful work upon arranging the room as the room was arranged so greatly ( grand) for the awards ceremony. At least 40 tables ( 400 seats) and the decoration was fantastic.  I must congratulate Mr Kenny Yeo for the arrangement that has been made for this occasion. I am so lucky to have Christine to represent her mom ( Peggy ) to be with me. Peggy is still at the orphanage now as she must supervise the new generator installation, submersible water pump installation and directing the workers where and how to build the generator's shelter. Praise The Lord for enabling Peggy to do all the jobs that must be done without any delayed. It was a special night for me to be sharing the stage with CEO of KIA , CEO of Sam Sung , CEO of the Star company ( Mr Bret Mattes) ,Director of KISTI Ms Eunsun Kim, so many other CEO including Singapore SingTel CEO (which was represented by her vice) .

I am accepting the award of behalf of my wife Peggy, our children ( Christine ,Tassya and Christian) , the orphanage children and humanity.

Thank you to Frost and Sullivan for the recognition which giving us a great deal of encouragement to continue what we have been doing for the last 10 years in West Timor.

Thank you to Mr Satish Lele for spending time with me . Mr Satish Lele was one of the   Rotary Club President in India some few years back.

Thank you to Ms Cecilia Chan for making our table feel so easy and relax.

The award was given to me by Singapore senior Minister Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed.

The letter was sent to me by Manoj Menon, Partner and Asia Pacific Managing Director with Frost & Sullivan on the 9th of September and I found it on the junk mail on the 18th.

I was so happy to see Indonesian Ambassador Mr Wardhana was invited for this occasion too but later I was so disappointed to see him leaving the function  before the award presentation was given to any of the recipient including to see his fellow Indonesian which being awarded such a prestigious award.
