So far there isn’t any telephone land line yet at the orphanage’s location.
Founded by Budi and Peggy, officially opened by the Nusa Tenggara Timur province governor in March 6 2002.
Budi is a pilot with Singapore airlines and Peggy was an air stewardess with Garuda for 9 years then a house wife and now as the care taker and manager for the orphanage.

Thank you for your willingness to help out. When were starting the orphanage we didn’t have any idea at all about giving the children away for an adoption. We love the children so much. But as our goal has been the happiness of the children we are thinking more openly. If the happiness is mean to be an adoption let be it . Even though we do not know anything at all about the procedure and loving them so much like our own kids. The procedure can be quite hard as there has been a recent case of an adoption by a people from EU country which led into a court case . ” If I am not mistaken” , the people who wants to adopt must be living in Indonesia for at least 2 years and other things may be.
Our intention is still the same , that is to look after them and to send them to school till at least high school and to the university for those who are having the potential to do so. After that we will send them to their home town ( family if they have) and without having the need to pay us back or working for us . Their happiness and success in life is our prime goal. If they are coming back to help is a bonus for the orphanage . Regards.

I am able to collect used clothing (children and adults, not torn) which are wearable, and stationery and gift items (like picture frames, souvenirs etc), toys, books, other household items etc, some new some used, but all are usable and none is damaged. And I think it will be nice if they could benefit the children or young teenagers or adults in Roslin Orphanage.
