A NEW DAY A NEW BLESSINGS
Oct 7th, 2009 by CaptainB
It was not an easy feeling when you are flying and knowing that there are two typhoons on your way . By surrendering our self to the All Mighty things are always better than what a man can think off. Our flight from Singapore to Los Angeles was rather great and we can say it great as we do not get effected too much by the two super typhoons on October 4th. Praise The Lord we were flying through some area over the middle part of The Pacific Ocean which was supposed to be having a bad weather without too much turbulence. Things was made easier for us on that day, indeed Praise The Lord. As a bonus to us , on that 4th evening we were having the biggest moon in 100 years . It was so great to see the moon so bright and so much like a perfect circle from an altitude where there was not any cloud above us along our route. It is a blessing to be able to see it so beautifully.
it was a quality time indeed

As we were arriving at the hotel some of my new friends were already on the way to meet up and to some of them were already there. It was so great to meet up with them in person and sharing our stories and thankful with what we have and the blessings in the form of good health and laughter. Some ideas were given to me upon how to deal with the children and how we should treat the children better upon their up bringing.
My bro pilot Vasco Rodrigues and his family has been a huge encouragement to me upon so many things that I am dealing with right now. Also for this time I do not have to get the usual multivitamin for the children as he gave us enough supply for at least 3 months of supplies. Indeed with all of the children being healthy we will have much lesser problems that we have to deal with. Thank you bro Vasco, sis Julia and lovely daughter Carina.
vitamin supplies from bro Vasco which I will bring them on the 24th of October to the orphanage
My long time friend , sis Betty came and she blesses me by introducing another sister , Hani and later her son Harman which I am so happy to have more new families when I am in LA . Sis Betty has been my friend since we met in a group of people all over the world who love to eat and to cook. It is a group where we have been sharing about so many things now where by initially we were only exchanging some knowledge about cooking and where to find good food.
Bro Michael Stienman must drove some 60 miles (from Ontario) just to met up again and it was always great to talk to him as he is so quick with ideas and very good with knowledge about how to deal with children during their upbringing. Bro Michael was recognized by President Obama for his work about the children and its unique situation. We are planning to do things together about children and its progresses.
Bro Handri must drove from Santa Barbara , it is also not short distance to come just to have fellowship with us.Thank you bro for coming for the last two days in a row.
Even though I am so far away from my club (www.rotaryeclub3310.org) I was able to do my make up at Rotary Club Del Amo today. It was a great afternoon that we were having and the message that was shared by sis Alison was great . She was explaining about the name Del Amo which goes back in 1874 and it was very much related to the world’s first biggest and official AIR RACE .

Sis Suelen and bro Clarance came too on the next day , it is always a quality time for me being with them.
Sis Doris Tan , thank you for the books. Sorry I missed you call.
It was great to meet up with bro Rico this evening on the 7th , we were unable to meet up yesterday. Again Michael drove the 60 miles to share so many things about children and their behavior. We will be doing project together soon about children and we are hoping by next year we can presented to the United Nation. Nothing is impossible.
Sis Elzabeth Suwandi came before doing her job. She is a singer and a writer . She was singing so beautifully for us and it was a lovely evening together. She will be visiting the orphanage by the end of the year. We are planning to do program together when I am giving a talk to a school on October 19th in Ontario.
Budi , Michael Stienman, Lizzy and Rico
All the way from Minnesota bro Charlie Stauduhar and sis Inge Stauduhar came to see me . It was great that we can catch up and converse in Indonesian language even though we are so far away from home. Came along from Sandiego Mr Rod Marklund and his wife Linda Marklund.
The flight back from Los Angeles was so good all the way through. Not just the passenger load was 91 % but the weather was great all he way . Praise he Lord. More to that all of the crew were just so great upon performing their duty . So much of good compliment were gotten from the passenger. Nothing better than being recognized for doing the job well done.
me and my best crew this morning
Indeed my stay in LA and the whole trip has been nothing but full of blessings.
