SHARING THE PRECIOUS CLEAN WATER

The is nothing happier than to be able to live with high degree of sanitation and to be healthy. It is common for people who are living in the modern society and for the people in places where clean water is accessible at their homes in the form of tap water. The tap water is managed by the state government and proper water treatment are maintained . This privilege of having clean water is far beyond the capability of the people who are living at our orphanage's neighborhood . Even during the rainy season like what we are currently having , the need of clean water is still can not be fulfilled. If you are following the local news , you will be able to know that the area of Kupang and other pars of West Timor is being effected by flood , the rain has been so generous and keep on falling continuously. Theoretically there are water every where and the needs of water must be able to be satisfied. In actual fact people are still having difficulties on getting clean water for just their daily need ( coking and sanitation purposes).

It is a privilege for the orphanage to have our own water truck , to satisfy our needs in water and to be able to have enough water for every thing. Based on the privilege that we have we want to share also the happiness with the neighbors too. When we are having the time to do so , the orphanage is not only buying water just for our needs but we are also sharing the precious clean water with the people nearby. As seen on the picture, Peggy was following the water truck which distributing clean water to the neighbors. It has been a great feeling as we can share some thing that is needed by other fellow human being for their daily need. We are hoping that we can look after this precious water truck for such a very long time thus we can share the precious clean water for a long period of time too
