It is 2008 already , Happy New Year to All friends , brothers and sisters where ever you are. It will be a better year and it will be the year of blessings for every one. Just do our best and the harvest will be great . We shall do our best for our health and do our best for our well being. Many friendships have been formed and maintained for so many years and yet new friends shall be met and made. The future is purely something that we do not know for sure but with our best efforts and many friends doing it together , we shall be able to make it closer and closer to the intended goals and or destinations.

I have been having the blessings by having so many friends , gatherings and fellowships . This world will be a better place if more friendships are being developed and maintained. so much joy and quality time can be done simply because of great friendship.

I was blessed for having a great Christmas eve when I was supposed to be alone and coming back from my New York flight . At that time my special friend and bro “ fishing professor” Alex Chee picked me up and brought me to have a great Christmas eve gathering at his friend which is a real professor ( ha ha ha ). We went to such a nice place of professor Soo’s and spent our wonderful Christmas eve over there. Professor Soo is the one who arranged Peggy’s treatment when she was having the accident ,which was to be handled by such a capable and recognized doctor ( Dr Colin Song). Thank you prof Soo. During that evening I was also introduced to Dr Teh and his family. It was so great to be among nice people and friends. Thank you Mr Chee , you are a dear friend and bro indeed.

During new year’s eve of 2007/2008 instead of seeing the “spectacular ball” being lowered at Times Square , New York. I was blessed by having a quality time with pastor Tim Suwidji of the Indonesian Pentecostal Family Church , his family and his congregation. It was a special evening where we were able to sing , worship and being together with more friends and having great fellowship among us. A simple message yet so powerful for us that God is so faithful and He will always deliver His promises to us . For obtaining His promises we have to be faithful to Him and His teaching accordingly, seek His Kingdom first and always following His way. I was given a chance to do some sharing which basically confirming God’s deliverances to His promises as we tried to walk on His path. You can read it from the previous blog entry for what God can do to us through many of you or through His miracles. At the end of my testimony I was surprised that God blesses me through this congregation which was announced by pastor Tim. Pastor Tim handed to me the congregation’s love gift to the orphanage. Brother Max Palaar was also giving his love gift to the orphanage before we were parted on that beautiful evening . What a blessing indeed. Thank you God, Thank you pastor Tim and thank you IPFC. We will be using it wisely which we will be using it to renovate the orphanage’s rooms starting in March ( at the end of the rainy season in Kupang, West Timor). The orphanage is so far away yet your kindness and love gift will be able to reach it . It is a blessing indeed.

Through pastor Tim , I was introduced to pastor Rene Sahir and his congregation ( a Baptist church named Father’s Love Church. www.flcny.org). Pastor Rene Sahir is an expert on musical matters ( a Phd holder in Music) . He plays wonderfully on guitar , piano and anything . I wish that I can learn from him one day about the guitar. Through this congregation I am having a new sister and bro Nina and Wellem , also a chance to link up Danny with his long lost relative Yoppie of 20 years( took me 1 day to locate Yoppie through the Indonesian pilot’s milling list). It was also a blessing when I am able to link up another childhood friend for Agnes with Lisa which they haven’t seen each other for years. They were friends when they were still at Biak Island , West Papua in Indonesia. It is a small world because Lisa was my escort when I was married and when she was only about 8 years old. During my recent trip to Indonesia , Lisa was so exited when I told her that I have found her old friend , she came to my house and asked for more story about her. She was so happy when I shown her Agnes’s photo.

On January 1st at 08:30 am , Singapore Airlines Staff sis Pauline picked me up and brought me to the church that she is regularly attending . It is the Bethel Church which being led by pastor Nehemiah. It was a great first day of 2008’s gathering and cheerful congregation. The music and songs were so up beat and keeping us awake even though it was rather cold inside the hall. The message was so simple and yet powerful also. Said that 2008 is the year of blessings , so many more miracles yet to come. Be thankful , be faithful for The Lord is so faithful and keeping His promises to us , always. It was a special day for pastor Nehemiah as he was being awarded by Chamberlain university a Doctorate Degree for His work .

It is the beginning of the year and blessings have been flowing to many of us . Just do our part and do it the best we could ( with dignity and accountability ) . If all of us doing it together and doing it with such a togetherness spirit regardless who you are and back grounds , we will all be able to reach our optimum capability and will enabling us to move closer to the goals that we want to achieve. With God’s blessings , nothing is impossible to be done or achieved .

I hope that my wife and I will be able to do our best for many more better programs for the orphans , the library, the mobile library , the farm , the nursery farm and skill training for orphans and many more people . Any one who wish to join us upon improving the orphans and the children surrounding the orphanage will really be a great help to us. Any thing like giving training to the children with practical skills or their school work will be a big plus to the children and God will be pleased.

Education is still the number one for us to give to the children thus enabling them to move forward from the lingering poverty ( both physically and spiritually) so that they are able to survive and to compete in this modern world.
