THE FARM MAKING IS IN A GOOD PROGRESS

Cutting the metal wire and working hand in hand making the fence of our farm , day and night does not matter

There are two farming sides that we are quite busy with for the last few months . One part of the farm is for expanding the paddy field and the other one is designated to be the banana farm. The one at the paddy field is having a fish pond of which some 1500 Cat fish have been thrown into the pond. We are also planning to make another fish pond for different kind of fish ( Telapia , Eel or other kind). We are still concentrating of making a good fence for the farm and we are doing it day and night . It has been great that we are doing it together ( big and small are doing it and especially during the weekends we are some 40 man power strong) . So far more than 4 km of fence has been completed and some 7000 trees has been planted. It is a life fence and with this up coming rainy season we are expecting all of the trees will be making a good fence to our farm. During the dry season we are using the fence as a food source for the animal and the animal will be able to gave us the natural fertiliser.
At the moment at our rice field we are expecting to have another rice harvest around the 3rd week of December. This harvest will not be as much as the harvest in last June because we were so busy with the land clearing instead of planting paddy. Because of the beautiful scenery at the farm , especially in the early morning hours . We have decided to build a 4 room house , of which later we can stay over at the farm when we are visiting the place. The mountain's scenery is really so good to see it. With this proper home at the farm , we can stay there and cook things which we planted or farmed it ( veggies, corn and fish) . It will be a good get away place for those who are so busy with their day to day living activities.. Hopefully it can be done in few months time.
Yesterday my wife ,Peggy told me that she has done her shopping . She bought 300 cashew nut trees and some 30 more mango trees. The cashew nut might be able to give us some harvest after 4 years while the mango trees may be in 2 years time . Today she has bought more trees as her shopping continues.
